Privacy Policy — Haulout: Bulk Backup Figma Files (.fig)

Effective 2026-10-17. This policy explains how the “Haulout: Bulk Backup Figma Files (.fig)” Chrome extension (“the extension”), published by Haulout, handles your data.

Summary

The extension works entirely inside your browser. It moves your own data from Figma to files on your computer. We do not run servers that receive this data, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising or analytics.

What the extension accesses

• The Figma personal access token you paste in, stored in Chrome storage on your device and sent only to Figma.
• The names, projects and edit dates of files in the teams you add, and the .fig copies Figma saves for you.

It accesses this only when you start a scan or export, and only for that purpose.

Where your data goes

• Data is read from Figma using your existing sign-in or the key you provide, processed in your browser and saved to your computer through Chrome’s downloads.
• Keys, tokens and settings you enter are stored in Chrome’s local extension storage on your device. They are removed when you uninstall the extension.
• We have no access to your exports, keys or account data.

Payments

This version is free and contains no payments. It does not contact any server other than Figma. If paid features are added later, this policy will be updated before they ship.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or transfer your data to anyone. We do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending. The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date, and describe material changes in the extension’s release notes before they take effect.
